Miss Corrie - Studio Owner and Accredited Educator

Miss Corrie has been an accredited Kindermusik educator since 2012 at her main studio in Beamsville, Ontario and in various programs across Niagara. She comes from a musical family and like many of her Kindermusik students, her mother says she was singing before she could talk!  She grew up taking piano lessons and later sang in the Kitchener-Waterloo Philharmonic Choir. Music remained an important part of her life while she opened a day care for five years, and she was delighted when she eventually discovered Kindermusik – a natural fit for her passions of music and family! It has been an absolute joy for Miss Corrie to pass on her love of music to a new generation, while also supporting parents in their role as their child's first and best teacher. As a mother herself, she knows how important it is to see the uniqueness in each child, and to celebrate those little moments of discovery along their journey of growth.  Singing, dancing, laughing, playing instruments and reading stories, while following the Kindermusik curriculum and the latest research on how children learn best, Miss Corrie works to provide your child with an early education foundation, and to create special time for you and your child to cherish.

 Miss Kendra - Accredited Educator

Miss Kendra's first memory of music is from age 3 when her grandma use to call her up and teach her a new nursery rhyme each week. Miss Kendra grew up in a very musical family where her mother encouraged her to perform on stage starting at the age of 10. Music is her passion and she wanted to share it with others so she started teaching piano & flute in 1995. In 2005 she wanted to focus more on the benefits of child development and music and found the perfect fit when she came across Kindermusik. Miss Kendra is at her happiest when teaching Kindermusik and enjoys bringing the gift of music into little hearts. She is most excited to share with others that Kindermusik is a unique music program that assists in child development while fostering a life-long love of music, and that truly is a gift you give to your child.

Miss Lisa - Accredited Educator

Miss Lisa’s Kindermusik journey began in 2007 when she attended one of Linda Courchesne’s demo classes with her eldest son. She was impressed by how music and children’s education were so artfully combined. Before starting Kindermusik University she had worked as a Youth Program Director for Holland America Cruise line and ran her own home daycare.

After completing her Kindermusik studies in 2008, she was mentored by Linda and taught at her Kids Music and Movement Studio in Niagara Falls. Eventually Miss Lisa took over the business and rebranded it as Shake Rattle and Roll Studio.

Miss Lisa had a strong desire to go back to school, and after the birth of her youngest son, she made the difficult decision to close her studio and pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse.

She graduated with Honours from Mohawk College’s Practical Nursing Program and started working as a community nurse in the Grimsby area.

As overjoyed as she was to be a nurse, she missed her Kindermusik family and the pure joy that singing and dancing bring. She re-connected with Miss Corrie and resumed teaching, as part of her team, at the Russell Ave. Community Centre in St. Catharines.

She now works as a nurse educator at a busy medical clinic and is ecstatic to continue teaching Kindermusik part-time.

She likes to think that nursing is her bread and butter, but Kindermusik is her hot fudge sundae. Every family she has taught over the past 13 years has enriched her life and added cheerful sprinkles to that sundae.
